Our sixth festival! How time passes. 
The FLYF is an outdoor, rustic, community oriented yoga festival. 
This year's locations will be: 
Little Farm in the Valley, 6192 Scudder Rd. Savona, NY

All about the FLYF:
  • WE CAMP OUTSIDE, WE DO YOGA UNDER TENTS, AND WE SIT BY THE FIRE AT NIGHT.
  • WORKSHOPS DURING THE DAY AND LIVE MUSIC FRIDAY AND SATURDAY EVE.
  • CAMPING IS ENCOURAGED. AFFORDABLE HOTELS ARE NEAR BY.
  • RUSTIC FESTIVAL, INEXPENSIVE AND SIMPLE, FOCUSED ON THE COMMUNITY.
  • PORTA-POTTIES, EVENT TENTS WITH GRASS FLOORS, PRIMITIVE SHOWERS.
  • FESTIVAL IS SMALL AND FRIENDLY, ABOUT 200 PEOPLE, TICKETS ARE LIMITED.
  • NO SPONSERS, AND NO VENDORS (ATTENDEES CAN SELL OR TRADE WARES AS THEY WISH)
  • NO FOOD VENDORS. WE USE A CO-OP KITCHEN SPACE, OR WE ORDER FOOD IN.

An immersion into traditional yoga asana that's intended to suit every body type and experience level. With the use of props and adjustments, students will explore their inner awareness through a focus on alignment and the breath.

Welcome Back to your Center-a Gentle Restorative Yoga Class.

This Yoga class will focus on deep gratitude for YOU. You brought your self to the Finger Lakes Yoga Festival and YOU deserve to be here. This workshop will lead us gently towards the 4 day yoga immersion with passively supported poses for deep relaxation and restoration. You are a unique and wonderful bright light, there is no other light like you. Allow your inner light to radiate as you call in all aspects of your self for rejuvenation of of body, mind and spirit. Join Certified Yoga teacher, Jodi Simons Caruso for a gentle, nurturing, and getting back to your center workshop.

Starts out with Three part diaphragm breathing, transitioning to dynamic and intense sequences targeting lower and upper body strength and flexibility coordinating with a strong core and ending with a sitting meditation using mantra (ra ma da sa sa say so hung) and long exhales.  Very satisfying.
